Hoist-Roc-It

Hoist’s Roc-It line is a unique training experience that is designed to be a two-in-one workout. The class blends cardio and strength exercises together for a workout class that will definitely leave you working up a sweat!

Our Hoist Roc-It group fitness class is a fantastic way to exercise different parts of your body all at once. Using various multi-purpose strength equipment from the Hoist ROC-IT line, members get to work out numerous muscle groups without having to constantly switch machines.

Each Roc-It machine is utilized to provide members multiple exercises with the moveable exercise arm attached to each machine. This exercise arm lets members move seamlessly from one exercise to another, allowing for continuous workout throughout the class.

Testimonial:

“A staff member at the front desk told me about the Hoist Roc-It group fitness class. I used to walk past the Hoist Roc It machine but never bother using because it looked complicated. This class taught me all about the different exercises I can do on it and gave me enough confidence to use it on my own as well. The small class size makes it feel really customized, like it’s just a training session between you and your trainer.” – Christine

Intro to Strength

Strength training offers participants a foundation of strength training knowledge to focus their workouts on building muscle while maintaining proper form and technique. This is the perfect class for new club members wanting to familiarize themselves with our strength training equipment.

Intro to Strength will teach members how to properly use our Insignia Series equipment by trying out each piece of equipment themselves! Testimonial:

“I joined Trevor Linden Fitness with zero previous gym experience. I’m definitely considered a gym newbie! This class was just what I was looking for. It taught me the ins and outs of all the strength equipment and it made me comfortable enough to use them on my own. The instructor showed us exactly how to get the most out of each machine. He gave me some extra pointers too! Super helpful for someone starting out.” – Jessica

Testimonial:

“My friend and I tried this class together as a way to get familiar with all of the club’s cardio equipment. Super helpful. The gym’s ellipticals and treadmills have interactive menus that I wasn’t even aware of. There’s all of these cool fitness virtual games that you can put on while you’re running. It took my mind of what would typically be a boring 30 minute run. Without this class, I  would have been stuck in my boring cardio routine forever. This class is also a great starter class to get you ready for the more advanced group fitness classes. Highly recommend!” – Anna

Synergy 360 is easily our most popular group fitness class and it’s not hard to see why. Using the Life Fitness Synergy 360 “jungle gym,” members get a fantastic circuit workout without requiring the use of a single machine. The Synergy 360 relies on members’ own body strength to provide a killer workout. One minute workout stations are set up throughout the Synergy 360 system for a diverse array of exercises that work the entire body.

By attaching a variety of accessories, our Synergy 360 system can be used for full bodyweight resistance training and cardio. This can include plyometric exercises like jumping, upper body exercises like pull-ups as well as resistance bands and bungee cords! This intermediate circuit class is the perfect full body workout for members wanting to strengthen their core, tone their muscles and get their heart pumping!

Testimonial:

“I didn’t want to try this class because I’m not in shape and I kind of felt nervous to go. I ended up going with a friend who has a membership with She’s Fit. I really liked the class a lot! The instructor made me feel really comfortable and didn’t pressure me like other classes I’ve taken. I’d recommend this class to people looking for a low key, intense work out.” – Andy S.

Interval Training

Get your heart pumping with our fun interval training class! This group fitness class lets you choose your own comfort level to ensure you get the most out of your workout. The 30 minute class consists of drills on our most popular cardio equipment (Elliptical, treadmill) with alternating work and rest period throughout.

Testimonial:

“I usually go on the treadmill and do some weights for my workout routine. That’s my go-to routine. I wasn’t seeing a lot of tone in my muscles, so I asked someone at the gym what I should do. The staff member was really helpful. They told me to take an interval class because it combines cardio and weights to tone muscles. So, I tried the interval training class a few times and I really liked it. After a few times going, I actually noticed a bit of a difference in my arm muscles 🙂 “- Jarod
